E CINEMA TECHNOLOGY

E CINEMA TECHNOLOGY

Digital Cinema replaces the traditional optical print with a digital print. Traditional film projectors use 35mm/ 70 mm optical prints for screening. In Digital Cinema the film is stored on Digital Servers. Powerful processors then decode and project a pure digital picture.
Digital cinema uses a "store-and-forward" delivery mode to distribute motion pictures. Digital movies are encrypted and compressed computer files that can be stored on a secure disk or cartridge, or send through broadband cable or via satellite.
The technology is in place, with broadly accepted specifications and a range of commercially available equipment that supports those specifications. An economic model is also in place, with procedures that enable distributors and exhibitors to share the cost of the digital conversion.
Why to choose Hitachi E-Cinema Projectors?
